Pet Policy
A maximum of two pets are allowed in campsites and day use areas unless prohibited by sign or directive. Pets are to be supervised at all times and either be crated or on a leash not more than 6-feet in length. Proof of rabies inoculation shall be produced if requested by staff. Pets are not permitted in playgrounds, buildings, golf courses, boardwalks, pools and spray-grounds or guarded beaches (this does not apply to service animals).
Macomb Reservation State Park lies just outside the Adirondack Park along the Salmon River's course toward Lake Champlain. Surrounded by state land, the park has a wilderness atmosphere. Visitors can use non-motorized boats and fish in Davis pond or the Salmon River. The park has playing fields, a picnic area, a self-guided nature trail, a hiking trail, electric and non-electric wooded campsites. Winter activities include ice skating, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and snowmobiling.
Pavilion Information
Macomb Reservation has two pavilions. The day use price is $50 and can accommodate 34 to 47 people. Check availability at ReserveAmerica.com.

Solar Eclipse

Macomb Reservation State Park will have designated areas
available for parking in the day use lot. Patrons can then walk the
Park and find an optimal spot to enjoy the Eclipse. While our bathrooms will
not be open this time of year, we will have porta-potties for use during the
day of the eclipse. **Parking will be limited and there will be no fees
for parking for the eclipse.**
*PLEASE BRING APPROPRIATE EYE PROTECTION. PARKING WILL BE
LIMITED. ONCE PARK REACHES MAXIMUM CAPACITY, ACCESS TO PARK WILL BE CAPPED.
