High Tor State Park, a day-use facility for picnicking, swimming and hiking, affords spectacular views of the Hudson River. The Long Path passes through the park just before the trail heads inland to the Catskills.

Buses are not allowed. Passenger vans with a seat capacity of 15 people or less are accepted

Hours of Operation

  • Park Hours of Operation:
    6/17 - 8/13: Weekends & holidays, 8am-7:30pm;
    Weekdays (closed Mondays & Tuesdays), 8am-7:30pm.
  • High Tor Pool - 2017 Swimming Season: 
    6/17 - 8/13: Weekends, 11 am - 7:00 pm;
     Weekdays Wed-Fri (Closed Mon. & Tues, including picnic area), 10 am - 6:00 pm.

Fees & Rates

Most New York State Parks charge a vehicle use fee to enter the facility. Fees vary by location and season. A list of entry fees and other park use fees is available below. For fees not listed or to verify information, please contact the park directly.
