Buffalo Harbor State Park Update
Due to the total solar eclipse and expected traffic congestion, the boat launches will be closed on Monday, April 8 2024. They will reopen on April 9.

The newest state park in the system, Buffalo Harbor State Park is the first state park in the city of Buffalo. Boasting beautiful views of Lake Erie, the park is home to a 1,100 slip marina, a restaurant, boat launches, personal watercraft launches, fish cleaning station, restrooms, and a beach for strolling and sunbathing, and a nautical themed playground great for kids of all ages. In addition the park is adjacent to the popular Tifft Nature Preserve.

Buffalo Harbor State Park will host several special events and is a great place to enjoy a summer day in Western New York.
Buffalo Harbor has three pavilions available. Prices range from $100 to $150 and can accommodate 75 to 130 people. Check availability at ReserveAmerica.com.
Please Note: Swimming is currently not permitted. No Hunting.
Pet Policy: A maximum of two pets are allowed in day use areas unless prohibited by sign or directive. Pets are to be supervised at all times and either be crated or on a leash not more than 6-feet in length. Proof of rabies inoculation shall be produced if requested by staff. Pets are not permitted in playgrounds, buildings, golf courses, boardwalks, pools and spray-grounds or guarded beaches (this does not apply to service animals).
The slip holder parking lot and boat launch/ trailer parking lot are open 24hrs.
Gallagher Beach, the Greenspace, Playground and Shelters are open from Dawn to Dusk
Vehicle Parking is free at Buffalo Harbor State Park
$8.00 launch fee. All park passes are accepted (Golden Park, Lifetime Liberty, Patriot Pass, Access Pass, Empire Pass)
