Pet Policy

A maximum of two pets are allowed in campsites and day use areas unless prohibited by sign or directive. Pets are to be supervised at all times and either be crated or on a leash not more than 6-feet in length. Proof of rabies inoculation shall be produced if requested by staff. Pets are not permitted in playgrounds, buildings, golf courses, boardwalks, pools and spray-grounds or guarded beaches (this does not apply to service animals).

Burnham Point State Park is small and quiet with lightly-wooded campsites, ideal for boating, fishing and relaxing. Boaters can explore local towns, islands and historic sites for miles up and down the scenic river. Popular game fish include bass, pike, muskellunge and walleye.

In addition to tent and trailer campsites, the park has boat docks, a playground and picnic areas.

Pavilion Information
Burnham Point has one pavilion. The day use price is $75 and can accommodate up to 60 people. Check availability at ReserveAmerica.com.

  • 2024 Camping/Cabin Season: 5/24 - 9/1

  • Waterfowl hunting permitted in season
  • Shelter rentals are available 5/24 - 9/1 by reservation only.
