High Tor State Park Swimming Pool Closed for Season

High Tor State Park, a day-use facility for picnicking, swimming and hiking, affords spectacular views of the Hudson River. The Long Path passes through the park just before the trail heads inland to the Catskills.

Buses are not allowed. Passenger vans with a seat capacity of 15 people or less are accepted

Pool Information:
  • The Pool is open from June 15th until August 25th.
  • Entry is from 10am-5pm each day. The pool closes at 5:30pm.
  • No outside food or beverages are allowed except for sealed plastic water bottles.
  • Water fountains are available.
  • Alcohol is never allowed on state park land.
  • Smoking/vaping is not permitted inside the pool area and entrance.
  • Failure to follow the rules could result in you being asked to leave the pool area

  • Park Hours of Operation:
    Park opens June 15 and closes August 25th
    Park is closed Monday and Tuesday.
    Park hours are 8:00 am - 7:30 pm, Wed-Sun.
  • High Tor Pool - 2024 Swimming Season: 
    June 15 - August 11th
    10:00am - 5:30pm
    *Closed Mondays and Tuesdays
    *Last admittance to pool is at 5:00 pm.
