Event Rentals at NY State Parks
Are you planning a special event and looking for that perfect spot? Discover the event rentals of New York State Parks! With over 250 pavilions, rooms, tents, gazebos and picnic areas, there will surely be a site just right for your gathering. Sizes and amenities range from intimate gazebos to large, covered shelters with restrooms.
Reservations
Reservations can be made exactly 11 months in advance by calling toll-free at 1-800-456-2267 or by visiting Reserve America online and selecting “Pavilions/Day Use” to find a site for your event.
Long Island Rentals: Please note that event rentals (pavilions/day-use) on Long Island do not operate under the 11-month window. Long Island event rental sites are available to reserve starting on February 1st at 9am every year both online or by calling Reserve America.
Permits
Many New York State Parks offer permits for alcohol, amplified music, bounce houses, weddings, and more. Please call the park you are interested in directly for more information on what permits are available and to purchase any permits you will need for your event prior to arrival.
Reservation & Rental Fees
What does it cost to rent an event site?
- Rental Fee: Pavilion, room, tent, gazebo and picnic area rental fees vary based on size and amenities.
- Reservation fee: $7.25 per rental. This is in addition to the rental fee. All fees paid in advance.
- Walk-in fee: $1.25 per rental. This is in addition to the rental fee. All fees paid at the facility.
- Parking fees are not waived with rental use.
Cancellation Policy
To cancel your reservation, call 1-800-456-2267. If you have an online account with Reserve America, login and go to “My Account”. Under “Account Overview”, select the option to “Cancel Reservation”, which is the last option under “Reservations”. You must call the park directly if you are cancelling on the day of your reservation.
- Reservations cancelled 30 days or more prior to arrival receive a full refund minus the $7.25 reservation fee and the $7.25 cancellation fee.
- Reservations cancelled 29 to 10 days prior to arrival receive a refund that is half of the rental fee minus the $7.25 reservation fee and the $7.25 cancellation fee.
- Reservations cancelled 9 days or less prior to arrival receive no refund.
- All fees are retained if you fail to arrive and do not inform the park of a cancellation in advance.
Date Changes or Site Transfers
- To change your reservation’s date or site, you must contact Reserve America at least 1 day prior to your scheduled arrival by calling 1-800-456-2267 or online if you have an online account with Reserve America.
- If you have an online account with Reserve America, login and go to “My Account”. Under “Current Reservations”, click on the reservation you would like to change. Then, click “Change Reservation” on the top right of the Reservation Details.
- There is a $7.25 transaction fee is applied when making a date/site change to any reservation.
