its history. A lighthouse 4th
Order Fresnel lens is available to view in the museum's Lighthouse
Gallery along with a fog bell and other artifacts. Please

Johns will demonstrate spinning as done in the 18th
century. From flax breaking to drop spindles
and spinning wheels,
Barbara will explain how
these spun fibers turned into sheets of cloth for clothing.
Food Preservation: Historian Tom Hunt has displays of common
foodstuffs and explains the various methods that people living in the 18th
century used to preserve and enhance their food in the days before
refrigeration.

from multiple groups will be on hand including the 2nd NY Regiment, Lamb's

throughout the day. Visit with the soldiers and ladies to learn about life
