Baker Trail Loop

The Baker trail is always an enjoyable and challenging hike. We will start at the nature center and walk the nature trail to the Mud Pond trail to the Western Ridge trail. Then we will connect on the Baker trail. This section will have a bit of an incline to it. We will then connect to the overlook trail back down to the parking lot. Rating: Advanced

Wetland Trail Hike

A park educator will lead this short easy hike around the back pond into the wetland area. This is a great habitat for birds, ducks and turtles so keep your eyes peeled. This class is intended for children ages 1-6 and their parents/guardians along with any siblings. We will read a short story or two based on the outdoors and then go for a short hike hoping to see some cool wildlife. Registration is necessary with 24-hour advanced notice, please call 518-793-0511. Please stop at the office first to pay for the event. Each child costs $1.

Lake Bonita Hike

This hike has a couple ups and downs that travel around Lake Bonita. This hike is about 2+ miles and has some beautiful views of the Lake. Full Moon Hike

This hike is one of our most strenuous here at Moreau. We will be hiking 0.9 miles up to the beautiful view of Moreau Lake. This is a steep hike and towards the end it gets a bit rocky. Bring plenty of water and a snack or lunch to eat at the overlook. Registration is required with 24 hours advanced notice, please call 518-793-0511. High Rock Trail Hike

Join a park educator on this new trail. This trail connects the Lake Ann trail to the Eastern Ridge trail. We will park in the Lake Bonita Parking lot and hike over to Lake Ann. From there we will get on the brand new High Rock trail over to the Eastern Ridge trail. We will make this a loop and head back towards the Lake Ann trail from the Easter Ridge and take that back to Bonita, back to the parking lot. Please call the park office to make a reservation, 24-hour advanced notice, 518-793-0511. We will meet at the park office. Cost is $1 for children and 62+, $1 for everyone else.
