Preschool Naturalists is a nature class designed for children ages 3 to 5. This hour long program will focus on using all five senses to explore a certain aspect of the outdoor world. Children will also enjoy a nature related story and craft. Fee is $3 per person or $5 per family. Registration is required. Please call 518-584-2000 Ext. 116 to register.

Join other homeschoolers for Spa Park's monthly nature class! Each class focuses on a different aspect of the outdoor world and lasts about an hour and a half. All ages are welcome. This class will focus on snowshoeing. This program costs $3 per person or $5 per family. Registration is required. Please call 518-584-2000 Ext. 116 to register and get directions.

Woodpeckers of all shapes and sizes inhabit Saratoga Spa State Park. Take a walk with the park naturalist to find evidence of woodpecker activity and learn all about these fascinating creatures! All ages welcome. Please bring binoculars if you have them. Fee is $3 per person or $5 per family. Please call (518) 584-2000 Ext. 116 to register.

CANdlelight Ski and Snowshoe Event

Families are invited to enjoy an evening at Saratoga Spa State Park's CANdlelight Ski and Snowshoe fundraiser event. Admission is a minimum of two canned food items. In addition to a one-mile candlelit loop, the park will be offering a bonfire, ice skating and hot food and drinks. Snowshoes will be available to rent. This event will take place at the Warming Hut.
