Walkway Over the Hudson State Historic Park
Join us at the Ulster Welcome Center Plaza in Highland on Sunday, December 1 to kick off the holiday season with Jolly Ol' Saint Nick on the World's Longest Elevated Pedestrian Bridge from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. This event is free to attend and no RSVP is required. See the cuddly Brays of Sunshine miniature donkeys, enjoy hot chocolate, and bring the family to take your own festive photos with Santa!

Walkway Over the Hudson State Historic Park
The American Legion Post 739 organize and present monthly Flag Changing Ceremonies on the Walkway to honor our region's veterans and their service to our country. These events, organized and presented by these local veterans' organizations, are open to all who wish to attend.

Walkway Over the Hudson State Historic Park
Please join us for our 14th Annual First Day Hike. Come see the amazing views of the Hudson Valley from 212 feet above the Hudson River. Two hike distances offered – a short one to the flagpole and a longer one on a modified 360 loop trail. This hike (modified Walkway Loop) will be approximately 3.0 miles. Participants will travel along the Walkway, down the elevator, along the Hudson River, over the Mid-Hudson Bridge and back to the park via Haviland Road. Free, leashed pets welcomed, no registration required, and fun for all ages. For more information, please contact 845-834-2867.
