Celebrate women's history with this talk and ride 212 feet above the Hudson River! Historian Kjirsten Gustavson will begin the morning with a 20 minute, illustrated talk about the impact of bicycles on Victorian women--from exercise to dress reform to social movements. Dressed in Victorian bicycle costume, Ms. Gustavson will then lead visitors on a ride over the beautiful Walkway Over the Hudson. From there, follow the 4.4 mile Walkway Loop Trail for a self-guided exploration of historic Highland and Poughkeepsie. Call (845) 834-2867 to reserve your spot.
