Grafton Lakes State Park
Grafton Lakes State Park is hosting its annual maple day. The weather is warming up, and that means it's the perfect time for collecting maple syrup! We will be providing ice cream, donuts, and maple syrup on behalf of Stewart's Shops and Maplewood Farms. Come on your own or bring out the whole family, Maple day is the perfect event for all ages. Enjoy maple treats, crafts, and educational booths highlighting the wonders of the New York state tree and its sap! Learn about Indigenous, home, and modern practices for collecting sap and creating maple syrup. The event will be held on March 25th from 10am-2pm, rain-or-shine. $3 cash per person, ages 5 and under free to enter. Maple treats are free while supplies last. There will also be maple products onsite for purchase. No pre-registration required.

Did you know that Grafton Lakes has numerous volunteer opportunities that people of all ages can get involved in? Have you been coming to the park for years and would love to help keep the park beautiful? Are you new in town and are looking for a great community to get involved in? Whatever your reason, the park could use your help! Come out to learn about how you can donate your time. From gardening to a welcome center host, to a program assistant, to helping with trail work- if you have a passion for something in the park, we can work together to utilize your skills to make the park a better place. Registration encouraged, but not required. Light refreshments will be served during the event.
