Our third hike in our hiking challenge series will be the Martin-Dunham Reservoir trails! We will be meeting at the Gartlers Trailhead at 9am before departing for the hike. This hike will begin on Gartlers (GA), then through Double Bit Path (DB) and South Dunham (SD). In total, the hike will be around 8-9 miles and will take approximately 3-4 hours. Please bring water and stable shoes as parts of the trail may be muddy. Please call to register at 518-279-1155.

Calling all night owls! The Albany Area Amateur Astronomers will have telescopes to give you a tour of the night sky during this free program held at the Deerfield Pavilion. No preregistration required. Enter via the main entrance and follow signs to program-- first left off the main entrance road. Please drive slowly in the park at night. No charge.

Come join an educator as we go over how we feed our animals in the welcome center! These are drop-in programs and require no pre-registration, simply come in the Welcome Center and go to the classroom. This drop-in program lasts 1 hour. This program requires parking at the park which is $6 per car on weekends.

Come learn about the history of Barn Quilt Paintings and their meaning while we make our own! Join us for a relaxing fall day painting in the Welcome Center on September 25th at 10am. This program is for ages 12+ and costs $5 per person. All materials will be provided, and you get to take home your painted creation at the end! Registration is required as we have limited spots.
