Enjoy a leisurely walk with your bark ranger! Learn about pet Leave No
Trace on a guided walk around Long Pond. This event is being held to celebrate

the hike must be comfortable with other dogs and people, on a 6-foot leash at
all times, and have proof of rabies vaccination.

Come join an educator as we go over how we feed our animals in the
welcome center! These are drop-in programs and require no pre-registration,
simply come in the Welcome Center and go to the classroom. This drop-in program
lasts 1 hour. This program requires parking at the park which is $6 per car on
weekends.

Our second hike in our hiking challenge series will be the White Lily
trails! We will be meeting at the White Lily Trailhead off of Babcock
Lane Rd at 9am before departing for the hike. This hike will be a loop
including Conklin Pass (CP) and White Lily (WL). In total the hike will be
around 2 miles and will take approximately 1 hour. Please bring water and
stable shoes as parts of the trail may be muddy. Please call to register at

Bark and Brew

This annual event will show you how pet-friendly NYS Parks can be
for your furry friends, so bring them along!
We will have an agility course, assorted animal care vendors, live
music by Closet Classics, raffle items, and several animal rescue organizations
in attendance, and meet some live reptiles from Uncharted Wild LLC.
A portion of the proceeds from vendors, as well as all raffle
funds, will be donated to regional rescue organizations. To boost the funds
raised by the event, locally crafted beers will be sold by Emporium Farm
Brewery as well, so you can even enjoy "a pint for the pooches!" Please join us
to show your support for Capitol Region pet pals in need. $6 covers entrance to
the park, parking, and admission to the event. Food and beverages and a chance
at raffle items are available for an additional charge

Have you ever wanted to see bats at night? Maybe you want to go on a
night hike through the park and see what critters you can find. Join an
educator as we go on a night stroll through the park looking for bats and other
nocturnal animals. We will meet at the Welcome Center at 6:30pm. Registration

Our third hike in our hiking challenge series will be the Martin-Dunham
Reservoir trails! We will be meeting at the Gartlers Trailhead at 9am before
departing for the hike. This hike will begin on Gartlers (GA), then through
Double Bit Path (DB) and South Dunham (SD). In total, the hike will be around
8-9 miles and will take approximately 3-4 hours. Please bring water and stable

the Deerfield Pavilion.
