Grab your family and friends, your favorite bike, and a helmet to join us for a fun filled bike event in the park on July 26th, 2019. Demo a fat bike, learn about the local bike shops, bike trails and mountain bike groups such as Western New York Mountain Bike Association (WNYMBA) and Northern Allegheny Mountain Bike Association (NAMBA). Get riding tips from Certified Bike Instructors or just meet new people and families who like to ride bikes.

The picnic starts at 6:00pm at the Beehunter pavilion. The charcoal will be hot and ready if you chose to bring something to grill. Or just bring a snack to share with other bike lovers in the area.

At 7:30pm, lets show our bike spirit with a group ride around Red House Lake. Younger riders will have a shorter route and receive a gift at the end of the ride

On Saturday July 27 from 2:00 pm until 4:30 pm, come out and bring your four-legged furry friends to the Red House Picnic Area at Allegany State Park for the second annual Dog Days of Summer event! From agility courses to paw painting, this event is perfect for you and your pup. Any pet on a maximum of a six-foot leash, with proof of vaccination, and is friendly to both people and other animals is more than welcome! Additionally, as this event is a park-run function, we must add that any unruly animals may be asked to leave. This event is co-hosted with EARS, a local adoption agency who will bring along animals looking for their forever home. Come and beat the heat at our beautiful park with some fun games, free treats, great tunes, and good company.
