Seneca Plants Scavenger Hunt

Drop-by the Environmental Education Center (west beach) between 12-4pm to pick up a Seneca Plants Scavenger Hunt sheet. Along the trail we have placed signs about some plants important in Seneca culture. Learn about some of the food and medical plants the Seneca depend on. This scavenger hunt is adapted from a magazine article by John Mohawk (illustrated by Carter Waterman) that appeared in The Conservationist. The scavenger hunt is located along the first quarter mile of the trail around Green Lake. You can do just that part of the trail and back, or you can continue to complete the 2-mile loop around Green Lake.
