Erie Canal Historic Walking Tour Presented by The Erie Canal Museum

Join us to commemorate a milestone in New York State: the bicentennial of the Erie Canal. In partnership with The Erie Canal Museum, we invite you to a guided walking tour along the Old Erie Canal Historic Park. Explore the original canal towpath and learn about its significant impact on our world. The walk is about 1.5 miles over a flat surface trail and paved walkways. The tour starts at Green Lakes State Park. Parking is available at the gravel lot to the left after the Rt 290 ticket booth. This event is free, with no park entrance fees. Don't miss this chance to walk through history!
