This Independence Day, Friends of the Walkway invites the community to experience the City of Poughkeepsie 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular from eye level - 212 feet above the Hudson River on the world's longest elevated pedestrian bridge. On Friday, July 4 at 6 p.m., Walkway Over the Hudson will open exclusively to ticket holders offering panoramic twilight views and an unforgettable perspective on the professional fireworks show.
