Waking Up the Pollinator Garden at the Sam’s Point Area of Minnewaska

Saturday, May 4, 2024 10:00 AM - 04:00 PM

Spring is here and our garden is flourishing! The bees are buzzing, the butterflies are fluttering, and the flowers are blooming. For this project, come help Sam's Point staff to beautify and maintain our native plant garden, located in front of the Visitor Center. Once the garden is complete, we will head out onto the trails to remove invasive plant species. This program is appropriate for children over the age of five years old, accompanied by a parent or guardian over the age of 18 years old. Meet at the Sam's Point Area. For more information, please call the Sam's Point Visitor Center at 845-647-7989. Pre-registration is required by visiting: www.ptny.org/ilovemypark.
