Intro to iNaturalist

Learn how to create and contribute observations for the global scientific community by using iNaturalist. In this workshop, we'll explore both the website and smartphone app of iNaturalist —a community-based education and science resource for those curious about nature, interested in improving their familiarity with local organisms. Photography is an important element when creating these natural observations. Receive first-hand practice as we walk through RSPP and learn how to take clear, concise photographs that optimize your subject. This class will also cover SEEK, an app that uses the iNaturalist database. Cost: $4. Parking: $6 per vehicle. RockefellerStateParkPreserve.org/events.
