Roll and Stroll

This 1-hour Roll & Stroll, 1.25-mile hike is a relatively level route with trails consisting primarily of packed pebble. You'll experience Swan Lake while it still has some of its fall foliage. Traditional wheelchair users have made the trip; however, the trail will be rougher than usual. Those using adaptive hiking devices having mountain tires will be more comfortable. The Preserve has two such devices available that can be borrowed for scheduled hikes when reserved two days in advance. The hike starts Promptly at 10:00 in the Visitor Center Courtyard. Make sure you have water with you. Cost: FREE. Parking: $6 per vehicle. RockefellerStateParkPreserve.org/events.
