Summer Trek: Cliff Island

Peer into the interglacial valley known as Lee's Landing from an ancient island of the Genesee River. Meet at the Parade Grounds parking area. (2 miles or more) Summer Treks are intermediate level outings for those who enjoy the thrill of a more exploratory nature hike. We will visit farther to reach places in the park, often with scenic views of the Genesee River. Bring a lunch, water and sturdy footwear. Parts of the hike may be off-trail.
