The Nameless Walk
Friday, July 4, 2025 11:30 AM - 12:30 PM
A wonderfully infuriating outing where the guide dives
deep into the natural history, life cycle, and ecological relationships of many
interesting-looking living things in this old growth forest but refuses to name
any of them. There will be time at the end to identify any particularly
tantalizing organisms we saw. The title is a nod to the "Nameless," a club of
Mr. Letchworth's wealthy poetry and classics enthusiasts, who met for decades
every 4th of July at the Glen Iris in the 1800s. Meet at Council Grounds. (1
mile)
