The purpose of the public information meeting is to keep the community informed as to where the Walkway Over the Hudson project stands and answer related questions. The Walkway Over the Hudson is a plan to convert the Poughkeepsie Highland Railroad Bridge into a pedestrian and bicycle path.
The meeting will begin with an open house session from 5:30pm-7:00pm during which attendees can walk through an exhibit area, talk with members of the design team and make comments. At 7:00pm, there will be brief presentation that will describe the proposed project and outline steps for the project followed by another opportunity to talk with the designers.
