The New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation has announced that a public information meeting regarding a proposal to reconfigure the South segment of the Robert Moses Parkway has been scheduled for Monday, December 8 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.. The session will be held in the Niagara Adventure Theatre at the Orin Lehman Visitor Center located in Niagara Falls State Park.
State Parks staff and project consultants will be on hand to make brief presentations about the proposed project and to receive public comments. The scope of the project to be addressed at this session is the Parkway from John Daly Blvd. west to the State Park parking lot #1. Plans call for work that will improve the flow of traffic both into the park and city as well as restoring the historic landscape of this corridor.
All persons interested in this project are urged to attend; those who cannot may submit written comments by January 13th to:
