When: Meeting 1: Wednesday, July 8 from 6:30 pm until 9:00 p.m
Meeting 2: Thursday, July 9 from 6:30 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.

The New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation will be holding two public information meetings regarding the preparation of a Draft Master Plan and Draft Environmental Impact Statement for Allegany State Park.

State Parks encourages the public to participate in the planning efforts for Allegany State Park and welcomes all comments. Because of interest in Allegany State park throughout all of Western New York, there will be two meetings scheduled. The first meeting will be held on Wednesday, July 8 from 6:30 pm until 9:00 p.m. at the Salamanca High School Auditorium, 50 Iroquois Drive, Salamanca, NY 14779. The second meeting will be held on Thursday, July 9 from 6:30 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. in Bulger Hall on the campus of Buffalo State College, 1300 Elmwood Avenue in Buffalo, NY.

The purpose of these meetings is to solicit input and suggestions of items that the public may like considered during the master plan process.

All persons interested in Allegany State Park are urged to attend but those who are unable may submit written comments by Friday, August 7, 2009 to:
