OPRHP Announces Transportation Enhancement Project for Glimmerglass State Park/Hyde Hall State Historic Site
The Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation (OPRHP) Central Region will be holding a public information meeting to provide an overview of the proposal to restore bridge access from Tin Top to the Hyde Hall Mansion, provide upgrades to the small Tin Top parking area, do minor repair and utility work in Tin Top's west wing, and install a new storm water culvert below the park road leading to Hyde Hall.
There will be opportunities for the public to ask questions and offer comments. New York State Parks encourages the public to participate in the meeting and welcomes all comments and suggestions.
The meeting will be held at the Springfield Community Center, 137 County Route 29A, Springfield Center, NY 13468 on January 14, 2010 at 7:00 PM. Representatives of Barton & Loguidice and State Parks' staff will make a brief presentation about the project. They will also be available to answer questions and receive public comments. All persons interested in Glimmerglass State Park and Hyde Hall State Historic Site are urged to attend.
