Submitted proposals must demonstrate relevant experience, expertise, programmatic alignment and resources to construct, equip, outfit and operate the designated spaces and develop compatible, quality programs, events or concessions in collaboration with Park management upon completion of necessary capital improvements. Buildings included in the RFP include the Main Horse Barn, the White Frame Stable, the Green House and three garages.

The Request for Proposal may be obtained free of charge by emailing concessions@parks.ny.gov or downloading documents from the New York State Contract Reporter website: http://www.nyscr.ny.gov.

Knox Farm State Park, with a significant equestrian history, is the former country estate of Buffalo's renowned Knox Family. It is located adjacent to the historic village of East Aurora, birthplace of the Roycroft Arts & Crafts movement and former home of Millard Fillmore. The park's 633 acres are comprised of a variety of habitats, including 400 acres of grasslands (pastures and hayfields), and 100 acres of woodlands, ponds and several wetland areas.
