State Parks Announces Completion of Sampson State Park Master Plan

The New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation has developed a Final Master Plan and Final Environmental Impact Statement (MP/FEIS) for Sampson State Park, located in the Town of Romulus, Seneca County.

The MP/FEIS includes proposals for resource protection and recreational use, including continued rehabilitation and maintenance of the parks' existing facilities as well as construction of new park facilities.

An online version of the final Master Plan/FEIS is available at the following publicly accessible website: https://parks.ny.gov/inside-our-agency/master-plans.aspx. Hard copies of the MP/FEIS are available at the Sampson State Park Office or from the Agency Contact below.

Interested Agencies and the public are afforded the opportunity to consider the FEIS for 10 days. This consideration period ends on March 14, 2021.
