STATE PARKS COUNCIL TO MEET APRIL 1
(Albany, New York, March 26, 1998...) The New York State Council of Parks will hold its next meeting at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, April 1, in Albany.
The Council, appointed by the governor and chaired by Edward F. Cox, is an advisory group to the New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation.
The Council is comprised of the Parks commissioner, Department of Environmental Conservation commissioner, chairman of the State Board of Historic Preservation and chairpersons of the 11 regional park commissions.
