1998 NEW YORK STATE PARKS AND HISTORIC SITES GUIDE IS AVAILABLE

(Albany, New York July 9, 1998...) The 1998 New York State Parks and Historic Sites Guide is now available free of charge.

The guide offers information on every State Park and Historic Site in New York, as well as those in the Catskill and Adirondack areas which are operated by the Department of Environmental Conservation.

The guide comes complete with photos, maps and detailed information about what each state park and historic site has to offer as far as camping, fishing, boating, etc. Phone numbers and discount program details are also included.

The guide is available by calling (518) 474-0456 or by writing to New York State Parks, Empire State Plaza, Communications Bureau, Albany, New York 12238. It is also available by contacting any of State Parks' 11 regional offices across the state.
