STATE COUNCIL OF PARKS TO MEET JULY 31
(Albany, New York, July 21, 1998 ...) The New York State Council of Parks will hold its next meeting at 9:30 a.m., Friday, July 31, in Saratoga. The Council, appointed by the governor and chaired by Edward F. Cox, is an advisory group to the New York State Office of Parks, Recreation, and Historic Preservation. The Council is comprised of the Parks commissioner, Department of Environmental Conservation commissioner, chairman of the State Board of Historic Preservation and chairpersons of the 11 regional park commissions.
