Flooding Closes Verona Beach State Park

Heavy Rains Force Closure of State Campground in Oneida County

(Albany, NY... July 13, 2006) The New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation is alerting patrons that due to heavy rains, Verona Beach State Park in Oneida County is closed for camping and day use until further notice, effective immediately.

Camping patrons with reservations at Verona Beach are being contacted and they can also call Delta Lake State Park at 315-337-4670 for information about availability. For details about obtaining a refund, campers can call ReserveAmerica at 1-800-456-2267.
