Verona Beach State Park Reopens Beach And Day User Facilities

Campground Remains Closed Due to Heavy Rains

(Albany, NY... July 14, 2006) The New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation has reopened the swimming beach, day use facilities and limited picnic areas at Verona Beach State Park in Oneida County.

Camping areas in the park remain closed at this time. Camping patrons with reservations at Verona Beach are being contacted and they can also call the park at 315-762-4463 for further information. For details about obtaining a refund, campers can call ReserveAmerica at 1-800-456-2267.
