Midway State Park Public Meeting Scheduled

Draft Master Plan ready for review

The New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation has completed the Draft Master Plan and Draft Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS) for Midway State Park which is located in the Town of Ellery in Chautauqua County. A public meeting will be held on Wednesday, August 12, 2009 at 7:00PM in the Auditorium of Chautauqua Lake Central School, 100 N Erie St., Mayville, NY 14757 to review the findings.

Copies of the Draft Plan/DEIS are available for review at the Park Office, at the office of the Midway State Park and at the Bemus Point Library, 13 Main St., Bemus Point and the Prendergast Library Association, 509 Cherry Street, Jamestown, NY. The online version of the Master Plan/DEIS is available at the following publically accessible web site: http://www.nysparks.com/inside-our-agency/public-documents.aspx.
