Allegany State Park Public Hearings Scheduled

Draft Master Plan ready for review

The New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation has completed the Draft Master Plan and Draft Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS) for Allegany State Park. The first of two public hearings will be held on Wednesday, May 12, 2010 at 7:00P.M. in the Salamanca High School Auditorium, 50 Iroquois Drive, Salamanca, NY 14779. The second hearing will take place on Thursday, May 13 at 7:00 P.M. in auditorium of the Buffalo and Erie County Public Library, 1 Lafayette Square, Buffalo, NY 14203.

Copies of the Draft Plan/DEIS are available for review at the Park Office; at the offices of the agency contacts; and at the Salamanca Public Library, 155 Wildwood Ave, Salamanca, NY and at the Buffalo and Erie County Public Library, 1 Lafayette Square, Buffalo, NY. The online version of the Master Plan/DEIS is available at the following publically accessible web site: http://www.nysparks.com/inside-our-agency/public-documents.aspx
