2020 Statewide Greenways Plan
On April 7, 2021, The New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation (OPRHP) released the Final Statewide Greenways Plan/Final Generic Environmental Impact Statement (FGEIS). The Statewide Greenway Trails Plan provides a vision, goals and recommendations to guide future planning and development of greenway trails, including expanding greenway trails in underserved communities and improving connections between trails and other transportation modes. It is a compliment to the 2010 Statewide Trails Plan below.
