Niagara County Pride, a program of the Pride Center of Western New York, is proud to announce a mass LGBTQ+ wedding event atop the mighty Niagara Falls in celebration of WorldPride and Stonewall 50.

Married with Pride will take place at 4:30 p.m. Sunday, June 30 in Niagara Falls State Park. The event aims to celebrate marriage equality in the "Honeymoon Capital of the World."

Couples interested in getting hitched or renewing their vows alongside other LGBTQ+ pairs need to simply bring their marriage certificate and/or vows to the park. A special guest officiant will celebrate couples beginning or continuing their lives together.

Following the ceremony, all are invited to the street festival outside Hard Rock Cafe Niagara Falls, USA for the Rainbow Reception (6 to 9 p.m.) featuring music and drag performances. The party is free and open to the public. Food and drinks will be available for purchase and information tables featuring community partners will be there as well.

The New York State Parks Department will illuminate Niagara Falls in rainbow colors at 10 p.m. to commemorate the event along with a fireworks display.

Parking is free at Niagara Falls state Park for couples participating in the ceremony.

To register, contact Steve Jagord at sjagord@pridecenterwny.org.
