Admission: $4.00 for adults, $3.00 for seniors and students, children 12 and under are free.

Breakfast with the General from 9-10am, hosted by Southern Girl Diner, featuring pancakes, maple syrup, coffee, and additional fixings.

Sugaring Off: Join us to celebrate winters end and demonstrate

the traditional maple sugar making process.

Additional demonstrations include 18th century brewing,

military drills, German hearth cooking, woodworking,

children's games, and many more!

Visit General Herkimer's Historic Manor, talk with

historic interpreters, and shop for local maple products

at the return of Herkimer Homes ‘Sugaring Off' Event

Study the beauty and composition of hundreds of dried butterfly specimens representing most of the world's butterfly families. Dozens of local and New York species, as well as those found in the Niagara Parks Butterfly Conservatory, are specially noted. The Nature Up Close programs allow participants a more detailed study of a topic with comparison of hands-on specimens and/or various audio-visual aids and handouts. Programs are held on Sunday afternoons at 2:30 pm and last for two hours. All warblers recorded from Letchworth State Park (highlighting 25 nesting species) will be featured in a new warbler video. Natural history accounts will be summarized and will include detailed park distribution based on recent research.
